I love pizza. In fact, I think I could eat it every single day. I could never get sick of it. The husbo and I typically enjoy pizza for dinner at least once a week. In this new year, we have set out to find the best pizza in New York City. We are getting our picks from NY Magazine’s 20 Best, and a few others by recommendation. Each spot we get a margherita, and sometimes one other variety. We judge the spot based on the margherita, though, which we consider the gold standard for real Neapolitan pizza.

The Pizzas (listed in order of visit)
- Keste
- *Updated to add: This was the first stop on our tour, and it seems like we may have gotten it right the first time. We’ve tried a few others since, but have gone back to Keste 5-6 since. If you’re ever in the West Village, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by.
- Co.
A few others are coming soon! I’m catching up on some old ones…
Staying in for pizza? Not in a pizza haven like NYC? Not to worry. There are some excellent frozen pizzas out there too. Here are some favorites.
